Reading aloud Lovers should best whisper their love oaths in the left ear of the beloved: sentimental words are better remembered when coming from the left, an American psychologist told the European Congress of Psychology in London. The Teow-Chong Sim has been proven by the Sam Houston State University. The psychologist presented 62 subjects with a mixture of objective and emotionally charged words. Subjects could then remember the emotion-laden words much better, if they had heard them with the left ear.
